CV Writing Guide when leaving the Police

Your CV really needs to be, not just well written, it needs to be absolutely outstanding to get noticed. Your achievements are without a doubt the most important thing on a CV. CVs which are achievement led are 70% more likely to get chosen for interview, whereas those that are duties led, the ones that list responsibilities, only typically 20% get selected for interview. It's common sense; of course, you want achievements on a CV but actually it’s often hugely overlooked. This document is prepared from a podcast interview with Charlotte Eve, the Managing Director of CK Futures.
